2021 CVMA Convention - Call for Speakers
The CVMA invites interested speakers who can contribute a minimum of a half-day of content (three, 50-minute speaking slots) OR a full-day (six, 50-minute speaking slots) to submit an abstract.
Abstracts of 250 words or less are required for a 50-minute speaking slot. All submissions will be reviewed for quality, relevance, and merit.
Speaking opportunities consist of lectures, interactive sessions, and workshops.
All submissions must be received by January 15, 2020. Click here to access the online abstract portal. You will receive a confirmation email once the abstract has been submitted.
Details about speaker compensation, travel, etc. will be outlined following acceptance of speaker abstracts.
About the Convention
The annual Canadian Veterinary Medical Association (CVMA) Convention offers comprehensive education for veterinarians and veterinary technicians with a focus on best medicine practices and timely topics for the following species:
- small animals and exotics, food animals, equine, ruminant
- other disciplines (medicine, surgery, theriogenology, diagnostic imaging, anesthesiology, integrative medicine, dentistry, emergency and critical care, ophthalmology, cardiology, dermatology, epidemiology, clinical pharmacology, clinical pathology, parasitology, nutrition)
- as well as animal welfare, health and wellness in the profession, and practice management.
