2018 CVMA Convention Receives RACE Approval
January 19, 2018
The Canadian Veterinary Medical Association (CVMA) is pleased to share that once again the American Association of Veterinary State Boards RACE committee has reviewed and approved the 2018 Convention program as meeting the Standards adopted by the AAVSB.
The purpose of the RACE program is to develop and apply uniform standards related to providers and programs of continuing education (CE) in veterinary medicine. The goal is to serve and support the AAVSB Member Boards by ensuring all RACE-approved programs meet appropriate standards of quality CE. You can learn more about RACE here.
The CVMA Convention offers a strong scientific program, with over 25 speakers and a total of 113 CE credits available to DVMs and 69 CE credits available to RVTs. Four days’ worth of sessions include wet labs and concurrent sessions exploring companion animal, ruminant, equine, practice management, and animal welfare issues.
Join us from Thursday, July 5 to Sunday, July 8, 2018 in Vancouver, British Columbia, for the CVMA 2018 Convention.
