Call to Celebration: Join Vet Med World Pride 2019

May 6, 2019

It is time for an all-out celebration! The PRIDE Veterinary Medical Community is inviting the entire veterinary profession to gather up 400 participants on June 30, 2019 in New York City to march together during the World Pride 2019.

World Pride 2019 acknowledges the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Uprising which took place over six nights in New York City after the police raided Stonewall Inn and attempted to arrest individuals trying to live their authentic selves.

Join us, our lead sponsors Hill’s Pet Nutrition and Zoetis, and our supporters from across the profession on this historic march!

How you can join in and make a difference:

1.  March with us!

Tickets to walk with us in the June 30 march are free, but they are limited to only 400. We ask that you distribute the Eventbrite and Facebook links within your organization or practice.

2. Make a donation!

Support the presence of the veterinary profession on the world stage by making your donation to our online Facebook fundraising event or directly on our website at pridevmc.org. Our goal is to raise an additional $10,000 in addition to the $10,000 we have raised to date from our industry partners Hill’s Pet Nutrition and Zoetis. Donations will go to supporting our World Pride event and Pride VMC programs.

We invite you to join in and show your support for this historic event in our community!

Sincerely,
Melinda Merck, DVM
