The 41st annual Western Canadian Dairy Seminar is being held on March 5 – 8, 2024 at the Red Deer Resort & Casino, Red Deer, AB. Could you please share the following information with your members (calendar of events, newsletters, etc.)?

The Western Canadian Dairy Seminar (WCDS; March 5-8, 2024; Red Deer Resort & Casino (Red Deer, AB) is a place to network and gather the latest information in dairy production and technology advances. This seminar is designed for those who want to improve their knowledge and decision-making abilities in dairy production and management. You won’t want to miss our exciting line up of speakers on topics ranging from sustainable farming, nutrition and transition management, disaster management, barn design, animal care and more. This year’s Producer Panel and Virtual Farm Tours will feature 3 farms demonstrating sustainability and resilience on their operation. We will also be hosting student research presentation and poster competitions.

With two receptions, a banquet, and ample networking opportunities in the 77 booth trade show area, WCDS is the place to reconnect with friends and colleagues and make new connections. Be sure to join us Tuesday evening for the Opening Reception, with refreshments, cocktails and live music!

The program has been approved for 13.5h of continuing education credits by the Alberta Veterinary Medical Association. View the program here or see the attached brochure.
