The Canadian Veterinary Medical Association is bringing the world to Canada in this joint Congress between the World Small Animal Veterinary Association (WSAVA) and the CVMA.

What to expect with the joint Congress:

  • Four days of CE available with 10 tracks per day including Dentistry, Dermatology, Business Management, Exotics, Theriogenology, Feline Medicine, Behaviour, Integrative Medicine, Cytology, Ophthalmology, Accessible Veterinary Care, Social Media, and many more.   • Equine Welfare and Equine Diagnostic Imaging will be offered on Thursday, July 18 and Friday, July 19 
  • CVMA signature events will take place on Tuesday, July 16

    • CVMA Global Summit presents The Gold Standard of Animal Welfare – Positive and Negative Impact on Animals and Veterinarians

    • CVMA Annual General Meeting and Awards Ceremony

    • CVMA Global Forum presents Telehealth and Animal Welfare – Pros, Cons and Implications for Veterinary Patients

  • WSAVA/CVMA Social Evening will take place on Thursday, July 18. Details to come.


The Canadian Veterinary Medical Association (CVMA) is looking to promote our beautiful and diverse country to the world during the 2019 CVMA/WSAVA Convention in Toronto from July 16 to 19, 2019. 

We're asking members to share photos of our scenic country from coast to coast to coast. From the seaside to mountaintops, and everything in between, the CVMA would love to see Canada through your lens.

Your photo could be featured in the convention opening ceremony and your submission allows you a chance to win a complimentary registration to the 2019 World Congress or two tickets to the 2019 social evening.
