Dr. Patricia Turner Awarded for Improving Animal Welfare

Congratulations to Dr. Patricia Turner, a former Chair of the CVMA’s Animal Welfare Committee, for being awarded once again for her work to improve the welfare of animals in Canada and around the world.
Dr. Turner’s most recent awards include:
2022 Harry C. Rowsell Award from the Canadian Council on Animal Care
2022 AVMA Animal Welfare Award from the American Veterinary Medical Association.
Dr. Patricia Turner was the CVMA’s Animal Welfare Committee Chair for several years in the early 2000’s. She was presented with the 2014 CVMA Humane Award for her national contributions to animal welfare.
