The Canadian Veterinary Medical Association (CVMA) invites applications and expressions of interest from qualified individuals to serve as Co-Editor-in-Chief of The Canadian Veterinary Journal (The CVJ). This contractual, part-time position (approx. 20 hours per week) offers a unique opportunity to help shape veterinary publishing in Canada by overseeing editorial content, guiding the peer-review process, soliciting high-quality submissions, and contributing to the journal’s strategic direction.
Applicants should hold a DVM or equivalent professional degree in veterinary medicine, animal health, biomedical sciences, or a related field, and possess relevant post-graduate training. They must have a scientific publication record and demonstrate excellent leadership and communication skills. Applications close July 31, 2026. More information is available here.
