The Canadian Centre for Veterinary Biologics (CCVB) updated forms and guidelines for veterinarians

The Canadian Centre for Veterinary Biologics (CCVB) has updated Form 5569 – Veterinarian's application for an import permit for a prescription platform product or autogenous veterinary biologic. Veterinarians using this updated form will no longer have to include Form 1493 in their application for an import permit for autogenous or prescription platform products. VB-GL-3.13: Autogenous veterinary biologics has been updated to reflect this.
The CCVB has also published Form 5986 – Veterinarian's application for an import permit for an unlicensed veterinary biologic for research or emergency use. Similarly, veterinarians using this new form will no longer have to include Form 1493 in their application for an import permit for unlicensed veterinary biologics. VB-GL 3.21.2: Importation of unlicensed veterinary biologics manufactured in a foreign country has been updated to reflect this.
