Workforce Shortage Social Media Awareness Campaign

The Canadian Veterinary Medical Association (CVMA) has created a social media campaign to help inform the public about the ongoing veterinary workforce shortage. Campaign messages are shared across Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), Instagram, and LinkedIn. Facebook messages are boosted as part of a campaign to increase reach to individuals beyond our usual audiences. The paid portion of the campaign began in April 2023 and will continue until April 2024. The messages highlight the workforce shortage and call for patience and kindness towards our veterinary professionals as they try their best to serve their clients and care for all types of animals across the country.
