ALLANDALE VETERINARY HOSPITAL is looking for a full-time small animal veterinarian to join our team in Barrie, the gateway to cottage country. If you are interested in practicing high quality medicine in a patient centered hospital with a great group of clients and 50 staff, we welcome you. We are a busy eight physician hospital, consistently growing, Feline Friendly and AAHA accredited hospital operating for 29 years. While a busy practice, we encourage work/life balance with three day weekends 50% of the time and usage of an emergency clinic for after hour coverage. Our staff includes exam room assistants and six full-time RVT’s. We have an in-house IDEXX based lab, Eklin digital radiography unit, dental radiography unit, rehab area with laser and underwater treadmill, ultrasound machine, access to on-site ophthalmologist one day per week and ability to provide orthopedic surgeries such as TPLO’s in-house. Our team members are Fear Free certified, and we are working towards clinic certification. We love volunteer work so there is always the opportunity to join a trip for our not-for-profit charity to northern Ontario, the Caribbean or Central America.
