Veterinarian - Reporting to the Director, Fish Health and Food Safety, the Veterinarian for Mowi Canada West will use veterinarian training to apply the principles of biosecurity, preventative health management, production data analysis, client relationships and food safety assurance to help drive continual improvement in all aspects of production and processing. Key Responsibilities: Maintaining and improving biosecurity in all areas of Production and Operations; Maintaining and improving routine fish health monitoring and surveillance; Developing strategies for disease and parasite management and avoidance; Analysis of fish health and production data to identify areas in need of improvement and develop strategies or R&D projects; Ensure Mowi remains compliant with all Fish Health regulatory requirements; Ensure Mowi can meet third party certification body Fish Health requirements. Requirements: Applicants must have the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited program which allows licensing in British Columbia.
