The Kerrisdale Veterinary Hospital is seeking a new professional to join our team.

Enjoy the West Coast and all it has to offer! Vancouver is often considered one of the best places in the world to live and Kerrisdale is one of it's finest communities. Vancouver is a cosmopolitan city with world class sports, concerts and cultural events aside from theatre, shopping and restaurants of every description. You can hike or ski one of several local mountains, enjoy water sports such as paddle boarding and sailing or ride your bike on a 100 km of rural, urban and mountain trails. We have previously had veterinarians trained in Canada as well as New Zealand, Australia and Great Britain each with varied experience. Such experience would be valued although new graduates are encouraged to apply.

Solo, independently-owned, full service small animal (SA) hospital seeks a DVM associate with intention for practice ownership, in Annapolis Royal. It’s difficult to squeeze all I’ve got to say in a short ad! I’m a one DVM SA practice since opening in 2004, in rural Nova Scotia, in a great little town. I’ve a team of six miraculous women who get $*IT done in an efficient and compassionate way. We’ve enjoyed a four-and-a-half day work week, with no weekends or holidays, and have grossed over one million this year. We share on-call with a neighbouring practice, currently every other weekend and Wednesday off, but as our DVM force grows, that will dilute down the amount of call individuals will need to cover. I’m proud to say our clients are respectful of calling after hours for emergencies only. We have many toys, many brand new this year. I’m looking to “retire” in the next few years so if practice ownership is in your dreams, please look at my labour of love that is Port Royal Animal Hospital.
