Whyteridge Vet Hospital is a welcoming place with a patient base made of small animals and exotics.
We are looking at completing our veterinarian team with an enthusiastic, positive and knowledgeable part-time colleague to allow us more quality time outside of the clinic. We have a fantastic team of 5 RVTs and a lot of other support staff and are geared toward the best medicine we could practice. The position would be for 2-3 days, with a weekend worked every month (one in 4 weeks, Saturday 8:30-5, closed Sundays, no on-call). Full-time can be discussed if there is interest! Experience of 3 years minimum would be ideal. Exotic knowledge or interest is not a must. We also have all the toys! We offer great pay, benefits, medical, dental, professional dues, insurance, pension plan, we have it all; or you can get a percentage of your production and look after yourself!
Please call Drs. Davidson or Dirdala if this sounds like you.

Associate Veterinarian Opportunity
Companion Animal
Are you tired of feeling like you're practising veterinary medicine with one hand tied behind your back because top-down management structures keep telling you what you can do and how to do it? If you're ready to end that frustration and be the best that you can be, then we have a job for you.
Our HR strategy is to hire good people then create an environment where they can be the best that they can be. We give our associates free reign to practice how they see fit, then sit back and be impressed by their untapped potential.
Our practice is modern and well equipped. We have an excellent team which includes 6 other veterinarians with very low turnover. Our DVMs work a maximum of 4 days per week and are paid on a salary basis, not by commission. We are currently open Monday to Saturday but are in the process of switching to being a Monday to Friday practice. We also have a full roster of skilled RVTs, again with very low turnover, allowing 1 to 2 RVT per vet per day staff scheduling. Additionally, we have very knowledgeable receptionists, administrative, and other support staff.
Our clinic is located in Kamloops, in the beautiful south-central area of British Columbia. The area abounds with skiing, golfing, mountain biking, hiking, fishing and many other outdoor activities. Kamloops is a small city of just over 100,000 people, with ample schools, shopping, theater, arts, and cultural activities. Kamloops also has a newly built 24-hour veterinary, emergency hospital which means you would not be required to do any emergency call.
We offer a very competitive wage, flexible part-time or full-time shifts, and a solid benefits package. We are very flexible with shift scheduling for DVMs with small children or other family obligations.
Wage is $100,000 - $150,000 annually and would be based on work schedule decided upon.
