CVMA Hosts 2025 North American Veterinary Leadership Meeting in Victoria

In advance of its 2025 Annual Conference in Victoria, British Columbia, the CVMA hosted the 2025 North American Veterinary Leadership Meeting.
Participants included representatives from the CVMA, American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), Asociación Nacional de Facultades y Escuelas de Medicina Veterinaria y Zootecnia (FedMVZ), and the American Association of Veterinary Medical Colleges (AAVMC). Each organization shared updates on current initiatives and collaborative efforts.
Key topics of discussion included the spectrum of practice for veterinary technicians, rural practice initiatives, veterinary workforce challenges, and the ongoing impact of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI).
